Julie is the founder of BioGlass™, a non-profit, addressing the global needs for education and development of eco-efficient glass studios.
With the threat of high cost in a fuel- consumptive industry, Julie and her colleagues are dedicated to the advancement of using sustainable fuel sources and recuperation techniques in the glass arts studios.
With the recent loss of Waterford Crystal and other great glass houses, there is call to action to work together and utilize sustainable fuel sources and community resources to protect the future of 5000-years of glassmaking traditions.
